The Pre-Sales Organization actively supports the SAP field organisation in sales delivering pre-sales expertise for all customer engagement cycles and with lead generating tasks. This includes aspects like contributing to SAP software revenue, customer satisfaction and solution completeness.
As a Pre-Sales Technologist, in-depth pre-sales support for specific functional areas as well as complete solution portfolios would be the central part of your role. A close relationship to the pre-sales, solution and industry organisations in South Africa and Europe, sharing insights and targets is a basic element of proactively supporting the field in the successful selling of SAP solutions.
You should be able to identify, understand and define the customer’s business requirements, needs and objectives, coupled with interacting, designing and presenting demonstrations and workshops to customers that articulate functionality and business benefits that are matched to customer requirements.
To support your application in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree, coupled with at least 4 years’ professional services, consulting and/or industry related experience within SAP or other non-SAP industry related analytics.
Explicit experience with one of SAP ERP components for the specific area/industry is essential and a broader experience in positioning the total SAP Solution offerings including ERP SCM, SRM, PLM, CRM and SAP Technology will be a distinct advantage.
